The processing of personal data will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons.
To this end, the following information is provided:
- The data controller is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) of the Italian Republic which operates, in this specific case, through the Italian Embassy in Athens E-mail: ambasciata.atene@esteri.it PEC: amb.atene@cert.esteri.it.
- For questions or complaints regarding privacy, the interested party can contact the Data Protection Officer (RPD) of the MAECI (tel. 0039 06 36911 (switchboard), peo: rpd@esteri.it; pec: rpd@cert.esteri.it).
- The personal data in question are necessary for the organization of the events for which registration is being made.
- The data processing will be carried out in mixed, manual and automated mode.
- The data communicated may be shared with entities and firms involved in the organization of the event, including Google.
- By attending the event, participants acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken and used by the Embassy for communication purposes, including publication on its official channels (website and social media) and dissemination to third parties, such as press agencies, newspapers, and other media outlets.
- The interested party can request access to his/her personal data and, under the conditions set out in current legislation, their rectification. Within the limits of the law and without prejudice to any consequences on the provision of the economic treatment in question, he/she may also request the deletion of such data, as well as the limitation of the processing or opposition to the processing. In these cases, the interested party must submit a specific request to the data controller, informing the MAECI DPO for information.
- If he/she believes that his/her privacy rights have been violated, the interested party may submit a complaint to the MAECI DPO.
